Ellis is a nice, laid-back person but when it comes to school and keeping his reputation, he fights. He bullies. Everyone knows Ellis and Ellis knows everyone. Pheonix is an Outcast and is constantly bullied by Ellis and his friends. It makes things worse for him at home. His mother is a single mom and struggles with keeping food on the table and the lights on, so he works a part time job at the skating rink. Two worlds collide when Pheonix decides to go to a party he was invited to by someone at school. The characters are going through their own personal struggles with family. What Are the Chances is a moving and touching story about not caring about others think and learning to be yourself.
