New kid Nick Ramirez moves back to the town he grew up in. He goes to high school and meets his former childhood best friend Lainey Reynolds. He wants to become Lainey's best friend again but Lainey's boyfriend, Brent Anderson, doesn't like him and keeps getting in the way. Will they ever become best friends again - or possibly even something more?
