It's been long enough. I hate this. Then why did I bring them here? Yes, they are useful to me, and their negativity is perfect for me, but I'm getting tired of this. Why am I keeping them around, when they've failed me so much? I can't feel for them. I can't love them in any way, besides their feelings, but why do I want to see them stay safe? It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense at all. After so many years of hatred from each of them, Nightmare, Horror, Killer, Dust, and Cross, it's become impossible to handle. Even Nightmare seems to be affected by the strain this life has on each one of them. Killer's gotten worse. Much worse. Maybe it's too much on him to keep him this way? Why would Nightmare even care, he's perfectly obedient anyway. Then why does it feel wrong to see him like this? Dust hates it here. Always having to deal with things that, quite frankly, make him feel nauseous at the sheer thought of them. Horror's nearly eaten himself to death, and he's shown no sign of stopping. Cross has shown no intention of working anymore, he dosen't care. Why does it hurt to see this happen?

A fanfic/story of Nightmare and children bad guys! All of the bad guys are children excluding Nightmare and Error. This is a story of Nightmare being a parent. I am terrible at stories so this may be terrible. I own none of the art or characters.

Although, that doesn't mean they don't open up, they have just never had the time to get to know one another personally. Horror, being one that doesn't mind talking about himself, while Dust barely opens up at all. Which is why.. Dust was always fond of echo flowers. He can open up to something that isn't actually listening. The only problem is that the echo flowers repeat it, so he enjoys keeping different echo flowers for different logs when he feels like he needs to vent deep in the forest behind Nightmare's mansion. Nobody knows he goes out and does these things... but that doesn't mean somebody won't find out. The night Horror catches Dust going out during night hours, some would wonder how he reacts to Dust's logs and how he keeps them.. Will he keep it a secret, even from Dust himself? When Nightmare said he wanted a group of monsters that would be loyal to only him and cause mayhem, he didn't mean four babybone brats. Now he has to take care of them while also trying to train them to become the perfect group of monsters that he wanted when they grow up.
