Clarisse La Rue, the fierce and feared daughter of Ares, would do anything for her girlfriend. She helps remind her girlfriend to eat and go to counseling and anything else she forgets. Clarisse truly is in love and can't think of a life without her girlfriend. But when a new camper arrives and somehow proves to be the child of the great prophecy, he poses a threat to Clarisse's relationship with her girlfriend. Clarisse La Rue x Fem! Fourteen years ago, a boy washed ashore on a distant island with no memory, no past, and a name that tasted like seawater on his tongue. Percy. Taken in by the legendary Red-Haired Pirates, he grows into a fighter shaped by storms, steel, and the freedom of the open sea. Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.
