Logic behind the event? It allows people to release a year's burden, hatred, by unleashing the beast on other people. Anyone who can't afford protection isn't guaranteed to survive the night. With this, The New Philippines grew. The crime rates are at from Minimal to Almost None. The economy grew and the New Philippines flustered with the hopes of never experiencing The Fall again.
