In my opinion, Unlocked was way too short. The ending was so sad, so I decided to make up what happened afterwards. Sophie needs Keefe. The one she could count on. But he left. Because of her. After two years of Keefe and The Vackers attending collage in Washington, of course Sophie was thrilled to see them again. While also introduce them all to The Twins. But when the first thing Fitz does is ask Sophie out, everything changes. It had been a week since Fitz had asked her out. Nothing had really seemed to change, besides for Fitzphie showing more than enough public affection. With everyone trying to act normal, it was even easier for Keefe to fake his smiles, and his laughs, and his feelings. Even Sophie's new friends agrees that Fitz is being unfair. But Keefe had fallen for so long, which only made it hurt worse, when he finally hit the ground... As Keefe falls deeper and deeper into his fake routine of laughs and jokes he starts to wonder what the point is to trying to put up with his feelings any longer. But feelings don't leave so easily, and unlike the rest of his life he can't fake them. While the his new and old friends try to make him see his life is still worth living for, and also trying to save Sophie from her toxic relationship. Keefe starts to wonder what it would feel like to actually fly, and eventually... fall. It had two weeks since Fitz had asked her out, and two weeks since Sophie had noticed something wasn't normal. She had been forcing her heart to flutter when Fitz was around, and trying even harder to earn herself his smiles. Yes Keefe still made jokes, but they seemed forced. Yes Tam was still just as sarcastic, but he seemed more confused than anything. While yes Dex still hung around her, but only when he had to. Even Biana and Lihn seemed colder around her now. Her friends had all seemed to turn against her. Saying Fitz wasn't the nicest person. Of course she ignored their claims. But as the days tick by Sophie wonders if she was wrong.
