In this timeline, Izuku Midoriya was born with the Gum Gum quirk, which allows him to stretch and blow up his body at will. In the beginning, he thinks it's useless until he reads a manga called Two Piece. When he read it, he realised that the main character had a similar power to him and then drew inspiration from it. Unfortunately, the mangaka had to put the book on hold due to it not selling but little did he know, he gave the future number one hero inspiration. Ryu Izou a descendant of the infamous Manslayer Okada Izou.Ryu grew up learning the way of the sword and the art of stealth from his mother.By the time he was only six years old he was a fearsome killer,but one day a corrupted police officer came to their home.He then attempted to violate his mother only for Ryu to kill him by snapping his neck.After this he and his mother left the town they had been living in and moved into a large forest on the outskirts of Kyoto.Here Ryu would further his training in the art of both blade and stealth. On his tenth birthday his mother would give him two items that were left to him by his father.One was a sword that was said to be "The sword that once mastered will promise the wielder nothing but absolute victory' and the other was a stranger fruit.His mother explained it was called a 'Devil Fruit' a extremely rare item that are sought after by all who knows of their existence.Ryu soon after ate the fruit gaining incredible power and would go on to train with the sword he received from his father. Now Ryu is seventeen years old living in the town of Kuoh alongside his mother.
