I started writing this when I thought I was ftm, then I realized that I'm nonbinary masc leaning, so for the first portion of the book he/him is used for the reader but then it switches to they/them, still focusing on the same struggles of being afab but not identifying as cisgender and reminding you that finding a partner is still very possible, even if they are cis and don't identify as bi, pan, or anything else attracted to multiple genders. You grew up on the same street and went to the same school. Until high school, you got into UA but you didn't want to steal the spotlight from him mainly because you hated that spotlight, but you also cared about him heavily. He kept getting in danger and you felt you had to go to the school now to go take care of him, just like he took care of you when you first started to transition.
