Fem!reader, 1st person POV The monks had told Aang and I of our destinies as coexisting Avatars earlier than usual since they feared there would be a great danger approaching us. I was a naïve kid. I hadn't yet wrapped my mind around the dangers and darkness looming around every corner of this world. I was also too ignorant to realize how stupid it was to think I could trust Aang. He left me to die, meaning he broke the promise we'd made the day we were told of our fates. I had thought we were to always tough everything out together, but the contrary became clear to me once I was covered in wounds and wearily staring into darkness. I woke up a hundred years later, a new threat at hand. The same nation that murdered everyone I knew and loved in order to get to Aang and I was now attempting world domination. I would have to reconcile with Aang to stop them. But did I want to even breathe the same air as him? I would've rather burned to death. I am Avatar Y/n and this is my testimony of the true events leading to the defeat of the tyrannical Firelord Ozai.
