Featured on @Romance in the Young Love reading list. ❤️ Genre: Dark Romance/New Adult Unable to change her imperfectly plotted storyline, Michelle just couldn't when it was always the synonyms of the words that changed when she tried, but never the plot twists. The sadistic author like the clock hands, wrote fate with the strokes of the ticks, leaving no room for a change. And somehow, she was that book, tossed in a corner of a bookshelf, on which dust settled with time as a reminder of her unaccompanied presence. The frayed ends of the pages wore out from each time, a reader would come, and read whatever appealed to them, letting her go after the bad plotline of her first - past - chapters. That was where that bookmark stuck, somewhere midway between the chapters, mistaken as the end of the story. It paralysed her into a moment in time, with her unturned pages not letting her move on to the next, that was unless someone else did. And then he came. A reader who probably couldn't change the stroke of the pen of time, as much as she couldn't as a character in her story. But he didn't just read her either. From drawing stars on footnotes, and hearts as annotations on the margins, he highlighted and savoured her moments as if he didn't want to let go of them, just yet. He read and reread her over and over until he had memorised her enough. And somehow, she was someone's favourite book. The feelings of falling for each other happened to break into an artwork of mosaic in the end. But when broken puzzles finally fit each other, the formed picture doesn't always come off as expected. Disclaimer: This story contains mature themes and suicidal thoughts/actions, drug abuse, and mental disorders, that might be triggering for some readers, therefore reader discretion is advised. This book is affiliated with my poems, Our Elegies and Mismatch Flame.

• [ Bayside Series || Book 1 ] • The People's actress. Global icon. India's princess. The world had numerous monikers for Kiara Mathew and she wore each one with honour. If there were three adjectives to describe her, it would be resilient, tenacious and infallible. She worked hard to establish herself in the film industry and strived equally as hard to elevate those around her. But no good deed goes unpunished so with no shortage of enemies, every day was a wild ride and she took each adventure in stride. Always kicking hard to stay afloat- that is, until she met someone who showed her how to swim. Hollywood's golden boy. International superstar. America's sweetheart. The world had bestowed Chris Evans with countless praises, none of which felt authentic to him. Sure, he was generous, talented and not entirely horrible to look at but he was also defiant, thoughtful and passionate. Constantly engaged in what felt like a meaningless search for some semblance of heart and soul- that is, until he met someone who showed him what it meant to be free. Love has the unflinching ability to make you feel like both a fool and a genius. It all depends on how you wield it- tool or salvation?
