Remy Monte suffers with living with her prostitute of a mother, and is forced to sleep outside on the bare ground. Reluctantly a man named Maurice, tells her he'd take her to school. Come to find out with her unstable environment, she doesn't attend school. Even with Maurice's bad street reputation, he takes her away from her unloving mother and promises her good shelter. He takes cares of her and eventually loves her deeply. He keeps her safe and untouched. She keeps him level headed, and takes him off the streets.
