She was taken in by the Ubuyashiki and had joined the Demon Slayer Corps, earning her title as a pillar at the age of 14, surpassing many due to her previous training as a shinobi. Her reflexes were admired by many, but many noticed the cold attitude she had displayed. She was the shadow pillar, a pillar that Ubuyashiki Kagaya was proud to have in the Demon Slayer Corps, for she was the support pillar. Often when she was requested to go on a mission secretly to help other Demon Slayers out, she comes back with excellent results and zero casualties. But what happens when [name] fights alongside Uzui Tengen, a man who was also a shinobi? And here she thought, she was the only shinobi left.

She knew his thoughts and ways about finding the perfect life was wrong. She knew it the moment she was born into the world, born as a half-demon. And to add on, she was the younger sister of the Shadow Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Akane Haizaki. Yet, she was considered one of the most trusted member of the Demon Slayer Corps, allowed to attend the Pillar Meeting and understand the situation that was going on. Yet, the way her dark blue ocean eyes would widen in concern as she always runs to her older brother whenever he sustains injuries. And here Iguro Obanai had soon realized, who he truly loves. And he wants nothing more but bliss in this world filled with demons.

"Don't worry, Rui. Nee-san will always be here with you, even if you cannot turn back into a human," He remembers her then. He remembers all the effort she has put into. He remembers the warmth of her back as she often carried him around the house. While she does the chores in a splendid manner, keeping it clean and free of dust. He remembers those words she would speak to him when putting him to sleep. He remembers being adopted into her family, only to bring great tragedy. Yet, she didn't blame him in any sort of way. Telling him that it was God's choice to take away her family. He remembers her effort in protecting himself back then, preventing him from getting killed. Trying her best to gain the trust and faith of all the demon slayers she has crossed path with. Only to become, the Shadow Hashira that vowed to return him to human.

"Trust is important because it is the basis around which all human relationships revolve. Without trust, there can be no relationship. Trust can come naturally or it can be manifested. But then again, it will be my decision to trust you," Those words lingered through his mind as Kamado Tanjiro, the hidden Upper Moon that was tasked by his supposedly only master, Kibutsuji Muzan, to assassinate the ever so calm Ubushiyaki Kagaya. Yet, nobody knew he was a demon. Until she found out.

"If ever there is a time where I can meet you in a world where I'm healthy, I will be contented to love you instead," he whispered to himself. He tried to remember who he had said it to. Only to realize that the person had been with him the entire time. That's when he realized they knew each other from a long time ago. And she worked up an act of courage then to speak her mind. She was bright, cheerful, kind. Patient and understanding. Those were the traits that got everybody loved about her. But little did they knew, the secret she harboured within herself. A long-lost friend of Kamado Tanjiro, only to catch him by surprise as he found out where she had disappeared to. She was often told that she was loved by many, and especially by the Water Hashira. Many trusted their lives within her hands as she dealt with every mission with caution. But little did they knew, [name] had to go against her morals and sacrifice her emotions. Only to have the Water Hashira, Tomioka Giyuu, along with her long-lost friend, Kamado Tanjiro, watched as she threw away herself for the sacrifices she was willing to make.

He was known to be a hot-blooded individual. Showing little to no concern about anything or anybody. Except towards the swords he creates with his burning passion. Many disliked him, finding him to be very difficult to approach. Given how hot-headed he was, yet the passion he had for swords made him stand out from most of the swordsmiths who made swords for the sake of it. He didn't need anything else. Nor did he need love. He just wanted to create swords after swords. Only to realize he had other feelings, for a particular Hashira. Then many started to question then, why would someone like her fall in love with someone as hot-tempered as him? And how?
