📘 BLURB Is it possible...to create a world where people will live forever? A world where you and I no longer fear death? Zenvix Nighvicto, prince to the fallen nation of conquerors, knows the answer. Beset by the loss of his homeland, he sets out on a quest with his unruly retainer Yurisviel Yaleheart and the hot-headed sorcerer Jerius Lyvia to stop a man from invoking an ancient ritual that will cease death as they know it. But the odds are stacked against them, as they fall perilously behind time. Thousands have perished with unbridled bloodshed, and sinister plans have been set in motion to thwart the trio. Something is rising, a power born of formless shadows. It can destroy not only the mortal shell, but eradicate the very memory of what it touches. However, a mysterious gift opposes it - a force as elusive as it is powerful. Will its fleeting strength serve Dathion in his time of greatest need? A millennium of peace has rusted the swords and dulled the readiness of the scattered races. The shining realm of Asillia maintains an ancient promise - to watch and be prepared. For they will be the first to face the stirrings of evil, just as it was a thousand years ago. In that ancient time, fires of courage kindled from the breasts of men, igniting embers of hope in the other races. Now, when that hope is needed once more, the King sends his son. Only Dathion - heir prince of Asillia - can deliver the warnings to the members of the Ancient Alliance, and convey the importance of their need. If he fails, Asillia stands alone ...

In the land of Lhor, dark forces are beginning to stir. Jamie Wyndwood has lived a modest life in the little hamlet of Rivermouth, trapping and trading. However, when unexpected tragedies put the townsfolk at risk, he sets off with his best friend on a dangerous journey to the capitol to seek help. What begins as a rescue mission soon becomes a struggle to survive in which Jamie and his people must fight to find their place in an unforgiving world. Under threat of war and the resurgence an ancient, mysterious power, nobody is safe. "The Keeping of the Light" is an epic fantasy adventure told from multiple points of view, spanning the vast and mythical realm of Lhor. This story shares the same universe as my other fantasy series (The Everwander Chronicles) but is set in a different part of the world, at a later point in time. This is a tale that I've been planning, writing, editing, and rewriting for over 10 years, and I am now very anxious to share it with the world.

One soul. Two lives. One destiny. ***** Torn apart by the gods, twin sisters, Sheala and Cassandra, are each anointed by the Fates to end the war raging upon Geiha. The sisters, one of the light and one of the dark, find themselves on the opposite sides of the conflict between the remnants of the ancient Kingdom of Hitithe and the evil empire of a vampiric Blood Lord. Their separate paths set them on a course where facing their destiny means ultimately facing each other. While one runs from this inevitability, the other has embraced it. And the fate of the world will depend upon which one shall ultimately claim it. Cover designed by Ray Gardener
