Beca is new at Barden University, Chloe a senior. When Beca met Chloe into the showers, she falls for her, but when she heard Chloe have a relationship with Tom she denies her feelings. Beca admits her feelings towards Chloe to her dad, but he's not happy about that and left her on her own. Every feeling she has towards Chloe, she just ignores until she can't do it anymore. She grabs her stuff and runs away, without telling anyone where she's going. Will anyone find Beca or is she's gone forever? Is Chloe able to tell her how she feels before it's too late?

Beca Mitchell had a rough start in life. Her parents divorced when she was a child, leaving her without a mother and therefore, Beca distanced herself from people in fear of getting hurt. Bitter and angry at the world, Beca begins her final year of high school with the dreams to become a famous music producer one day. Set on doing well in her final year to get accepted into a good music agency, Beca unintentionally gets distracted by the new girl in school, Chloe Beale. The new girl is bright and bubbly and everyone loves her, however, Beca senses that Chloe may not be everything she appears to be. So, Beca pursues Chloe and finds out the horrible truth of Chloe's life behind closed doors. WARNING: This story contains disturbing scenes and dialogue. During her first week at Barden, Chloe discovers a piece of music that helps give her inspiration for a music assignment she is having difficulty with. Chloe soon meets Beca Mitchell, an aspiring music producer. Beca agrees to help Chloe with her music assignment and the two quickly fall for each other, giving Chloe the rest of the inspiration she needs for her assignment. However, something happens between the two girls, which causes Chloe to stop seeing Beca. In Chloe's absence, Beca makes a shocking discovery about who Chloe really is and it's up to Beca to save their relationship forever.

The five years following graduation are tough on Beca and Chloe, until they run into each other at a restaurant and their lives are changed forever. Warning: (according to my friend) it may be triggering to some.

Beca soon utilizes her time at night to watch the woman through her window, allowing her to get a peak not only into Chloe's window but also her life.
