With each species filling an ecological niche in the environment it inhabits, it honestly feels like you're exploring a real ecosystem, even if the animals that populate it are imagined. However, what if these creatures didn't come from a video game? What if these monsters were real flesh and blood animals that lived in our world? Well in this book, we'll explore an alternate universe where the beasts from Monster Hunter evolved on Earth. What would the pressures of our reality do to them? Where would they live? How might they affect the environments, and the species that live there? Would they act differently from their digital counterparts? How might they affect our own evolution?
