Sofia wants to play with James, but James is more interested in spending time alone. Since Prince Hugo doesn't know what it's like to be the older brother, James asks him to be Sofia's big brother, so he can have time for what he wants to do. However, Hugo seems to enjoy being a big brother, and Sofia is having a lot of fun being his little sister. James becomes jealous of Hugo as Sofia treats him a lot like a big brother. After learning that Hugo is afraid of snakes, James plays a bad prank on him at school, which starts an uproar on campus!

Sofia, James, and Roland are visiting Prince Hugo and his family in the kingdom of Albuquerque. James convinces Prince Axel to join him in finding the treasure of the Sapphire Snake, but it turns out that there's an actual Snake guarding the treasure! When James and Axel get to the Sapphire Snake's den, they end up falling into a trap, and their fathers end up joining them! When Sofia and Hugo find out that the Snake had set a trap, they go journey through the rain forest to find the secret entrance to the Sapphire Snake's den. But when they face the Maze of Warriors, they feel as if they can't save their brothers and fathers. Luckily, Sofia's magical amulet summons a special warrior to tell them that they're stronger than they know. Note: Inspired by the episode "Princesses to the Rescue!"

Sophia Rose is excited for her first Homecoming dance at Briarwood Valley High School. Her new friend, Melanie Crenshaw, who is the most popular girl at Briarwood Valley, is looking forward to winning the prize for the best costume for the third year in a row. Sofia is really tired from doing so much work, but she refuses to rest because she promised Prince Hugo she'd teach him the double swerve at flying derby practice. When Sofia, Amber, and James see Cedric use a duplication spell on bouquets of flowers, Amber and James decide to use the spell on their sister. That way, the real Sofia can get some rest while her copy teaches Prince Hugo the double swerve. But Amber and James mess up the spell, and Sofia's copy turns out to be a troublemaker! Can Sofia stop her nasty copy before she causes too much trouble?

Princesses Amber, Clio, and Hildegard have no idea what to write in their diaries. Then they notice that Sofia has been acting differently, and they sense that she's in love. When Sofia isn't looking, the three princesses read in her diary that she has a crush on Prince Hugo and she'll be dancing at the upcoming springtime ball with him. Jealous of her sister's crush, Amber decides to come between them. She tries to make Hugo jealous by flirting with Prince Desmond, and she tries to make Sofia jealous by flirting with Hugo. But this only intimidates Desmond and rattles Hugo's nerves

Sofia and her friends are now grown up and facing new changes, and there's a very big change coming. Twenty-year-old Prince Hugo proposes to Sofia on her 19th birthday, and she happily accepts!
