If the two find each other, the roses will bloom and flourish, changing color based on the roses’ color. The two are soulmates. However, the world can’t be completely cleansed of break ups. Those that can fool and twist the lines of fate trick the roses, and when they come to bloom together the result is black. The victim is sent back to the start, with a withered rose and must piece their heart back for it to work again. Those who do not seek love have the roses. The petals do a countdown, dropping off one by one till the chance to love is gone. It goes as well for people that seal their heart away. This is where our story begins, with Seto.
