He is running around trying to determine whether or not his arch-nemesis will actually pay enough attention to him to actually try and thwart all of his evil plans. His goal in life: to rule the world, obviously. Bleddyn Bird (AKA the mysterious Erebus) is a super-hero, also struggling. While Doctor Nihilistical is running around, Bleddyn is trying to get through graduate school and is barely able to function with the amount of sleep he is getting each night. Both are trying to figure out what they need to do in order to survive, and it's getting to the point where they can't get out of each others' heads long enough to realize what is actually important in life.

When the resident villain Antennes found the hero NightHawk unconscious after their latest fight, he did what any villain would do, and took the opportunity to capture the hero. He expected the hero to fight back, lash out, probably kick his butt and escape, but he DIDN'T expect to find the hero wrapped snuggly in his cape, looking warm and adorable. Oh wow, was it warm in here? No actually, it was pretty cold, so why was his face hot? And WHY was his heart feeling like it was about to explode? You know what, he was just gonna let the hero go. This was too much. Now add in another psychotic villain bent on killing NightHawk, and things just get ridiculous.
