After one of Bruce's baseball games, he and his friend Finney Blake head to the arcade for fun. As they play Pac Man someone trips Bruce as he starts to fall straight into a Pin Ball machine being played by a man with the name Vance Hopper. He found this man beautiful. But rethinks him because he grew up being taught that being gay and liking the same gender is disgusting. Bruce has a hard to figuring himself out and who he really is. After all it is hard being gay in the 70s.

In this au Vance and finney was kidnapped at the same time....they was slowly traumatized together, they was held captive for 2 months. Thought the rest of the month the basement like room was being filled with more kids ! But before that Vance and finney developed a bond to everytime Vance gets a "punishment" finney would step in taking his punishment. Vance cried for him...they exchanged stories about what they did before being kidnapped and how they life was.
