Life is full of hardships but one thing is for sure, if you remember Allah, you will never be alone. "...And He (Allah) is with you wherever you are..." (Qur'an 57:4) This story is inspired by many aspects of Islam such as fitrah (Innate belief of Allah), the purpose of life and how one can find peace. "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Qur'an 13:28) Hope you enjoy it! More than anything I hope you benefit from it.

All Sami had was space. Space was all that Radia desired. His dorm room was so empty and lifeless that he felt imprisoned in the endless silence. Her bedroom was full of her sister's mess, her ears full of her sister's constant chattering, and an overwhelming feeling of being cramped with no privacy. After much patience and long hardships, when both their wishes are finally somewhat granted, is it really as good as they expected?

She hopes that her family and friends will accept Islam as well, but things go wrong when her Catholic mother kicks her out of the house, leaving her to live on the streets where people can abuse her. Fortunately, Harun sees her one day, suffering in the cold, and offers to let her stay at his house, and Kayla instantly falls in love with Harun's family since they accepted her, unlike her own family. Gradually, Kayla's love is directed to Harun. But what if Harun doesn't love her back? (Please, give me a chance for my new book and click that orange button which is inches away! "I don't get it! Why do you keep doing this to me?!" His words were wrapped in molten lava, hands in his hair, eyes closed tight. My heart hammered at my ribcage. I knew where this was going. "You pull me in, then you push me the hell away!" He shook his head at me in disgust. I felt a piece of me break at every disappointed word he'd said, the panic was rising through every crevice of my body. "I'm done Al, I can't keep playing this game with you. I can't keep picking up the casualties on my own. I am tired, I'm just tired of trying to make you love me." He let out in defeat and waited for my response. Alarms started going off in my head but all I could do was look down in shame. When I didn't say anything, he looked at me a moment longer and turned to walk away. Everything in me was screaming at him to stay but no sound would come out of my mouth. He was walking at such a slow pace I knew he wanted me to call him back. But as I opened my mouth to scream his name, I remembered something Amirah had told me a few weeks ago. "Allah sends you signs to show you that someone isn't good for you and when you still don't let go, he makes them hurt you so that you have no choice but to" I wasn't good for him so I let him go. _____________ This is Alanna's story. It combines the tragedies of her past, the trials of the present and what ties them together. Buckle up because this is one hell of a story.

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.

You know that awkward moment when someone asks you if you're secretly bald? Or that moment when your male teacher tries to give you a handshake and you politely refuse but he still gets offended? Or that really awkward moment when people start to talk about religion in class, and all eyes are automatically on you. Yup. We've all been there, and I dedicate this book to every single Muslimah who's been through the same thing. So let's take a moment to acknowledge these beautiful moments and make the best of them!
