Harry is abandoned by everyone at Hogwarts during the Triwizard Tournament and thrown out of the Gryffindor tower. He must face the first task by himself and possibly without any help from the professors. Harry starts thinking about his life and the decisions he made and is ashamed of himself and sad about the way his life has turned out. He wants to make it right and is willing to work hard for success, asking and receiving help from his father's friends and enemy.

What if Harry Potter is not as stupid as before. What if instead of hanging off Dumbledore's every word, he does a bit of digging himself?
