Durch meinen Kopf wanderten die üblichen schrecklichen Bilder, als ich mit tränenverschleiertem Blick die Straßen entlang rannte. Ich wusste schon lange nicht mehr, wo ich war. Meine Beine und Füße taten vom Rennen und den verschiedenen Untergründen schon weh, meine Lunge brannte, doch die Angst und der Schmerz trieben mich weiter voran. Ich wollte einfach nur weg. Der strömende Regen prasselte auf mich nieder, durchweichte meine zerschundenen Klamotten und vermischte sich mit den Tränen. Der Wind war so stürmisch, dass es mir teilweise fast die Beine wegriss oder ich wegen des Gegenwindes fast gar keine Luft bekam. Aber es war mir egal. Immer wieder nahm ich hellere Lichte wahr, die den dämmernden Himmel mit den dunklen Wolken erhellten. Daraufhin grummelten und rollten Donner über die Dächer der Stadt. Gewitter. Normalerweise hätte ich mich jetzt ans Fenster gestellt und fasziniert zugesehen, doch heute hatte ich nur eines im Kopf: Flucht. Im Augenwinkel nahm ich ein helles Licht sehr nah wahr und dachte darüber nach, wie es wäre von einem Blitz getroffen zu werden. Auch dies wäre mir im Moment egal gewesen. Leider stellte ich zu spät fest, dass das helle Licht nicht mehr verschwand, so wie es die anderen Blitze immer getan hatten, sondern dass es auf mich zu kam. Mit angsterfülltem Blick sah ich ins Licht, wollte anhalten, doch meine Beine trugen mich immer noch weiter. Dann geschah es. Mit dem nächsten Schritt krachte ich mit dem hellen Licht zusammen, ich nahm noch das Quietschen der Bremsen wahr, doch dann wurde alles Schwarz.
