Prince Envy thinks he has been, supposedly, 'blessed' by an animus dragon when he was just an egg. He has the ability to turn 'berserk', a form where he increases his size four times larger than the average dragon... some kind of super-soldier, with other powers that are not common in Pyrrhian dragons.. this HAS to be some kind of animus magic at work. But all goes wrong when he accidentally reveals his abilities, and his power-hungry family attempts to use Envy for their own bidding. Seeing the destruction of his family before him, once Envy escapes the claws of the NightWings, he tries to get the Gem of Tyranny before the seven tribes of Pyrrhia ultimately destroy him and each other for it. This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. All they know is avoid anyone, trust none, and survive at all costs. Wings of Fire does not belong to me. It belongs to Tui T. Sutherland.
