He defied death-not to live, but to matter. Blaze Morvane died a nameless soldier on a forgotten battlefield. Terrified of fading into oblivion, he struck back against the Reaper and shattered the natural order. In the realm of death he became something else - something feared. A collector of souls. A myth. A warning whispered through centuries. But immortality is not purpose. Power is not meaning. As the centuries grind on, Blaze spirals into nihilism. The more souls he devours, the less he feels. Cities rise and collapse around him. Time loses shape. Even sensation fades to gray. The only constant is the ache - the desperate belief that if he just takes one more soul, he might finally feel whole. Instead, he becomes hollow. And when a Reaper named Aislinn arrives to deliver judgment, Blaze finally faces the truth: He wasn't afraid of death. He was afraid of being nothing. Now Blaze must choose between damnation earned through cruelty-or redemption earned through surrender. To reincarnate is to lose everything he clung to. To let go is to finally be free. (Blaze's Origin story. As this will be important for the Blaze and Loona saga. Heavily Dark Souls inspired!)

Blaze Morvane lived fast, died stupid, and woke up in Hell with a smirk. A lustful, lighthearted wolf turned hellhound with pink hair, grey and white fur, and a knack for bad choices, he never thought the afterlife would include dive bars, demon gigs, or a hellhound with a death glare that could level buildings. But when he lands a job at I.M.P., he finds himself partnered with Loona-snarling, guarded, and infuriatingly unforgettable. Loona doesn't do partners. She doesn't do feelings. And she *definitely* doesn't do Blaze. But mission after mission, banter becomes tension... and tension becomes something that scares them both more than Hell itself: real connection. From awkward team-ups to drunken dances at Gluttony's hottest club, from dumpster mornings to whispered songs in the dark-two broken souls learn that maybe home isn't a place. Maybe it's a person.

Love was hard enough... then her hormones declared war. She's never said "I love you" out loud. Now her body's screaming it every time he walks into the room. After finally letting her walls crack for Blaze Morvane - a pink-haired, sarcastic, dangerously patient wolf turned hellhound - Loona thought the hardest part of a relationship was over. She was wrong. Now, with her first-ever heat kicking in like a hormonal freight train, instincts are overriding attitude, and every glance, scent, and smirk from Blaze threatens to unravel her piece by piece. Claws. Teeth. Need. She doesn't know what's happening - only that she wants him, and wants him now. But things get even messier when Blaze drops one little bombshell: he wants her to meet his mother. Cue Mistral Morvane - a white-furred professional with PhDs in Medical Science and Psychology, a visor sharper than her tongue, and a casual obsession with cataloging Loona's heat symptoms in real time. Between clinical questions, destroyed bedsheets, and one extremely drunk demon of Gluttony catching them in the act... Loona's about to find out that falling in love was the easy part. The hard part? Surviving it without marking her mate in front of his mom.

After braving the chaos of relationship beginnings, heat, and their first honest steps into a real relationship, Loona and Blaze take a much-needed vacation to the living world's most exclusive tropical resort. For once, it's supposed to be just them-a break from contracts, claws, and complicated feelings. But nothing's ever that simple when your boyfriend's past includes a long list of powerful, flirty, and dangerously affectionate ex-lovers... many of whom got invited by mistake. As old flames resurface and boundaries are tested, Loona finds herself walking a line she's never dared to before: being vulnerable. When trust is strained and insecurities rise, both she and Blaze must face the hardest part of real love-not fighting for each other in battle, but standing for each other in everyday moments. With surf, sweat, shouting matches, and a surprise visit from Queen Bee herself, this is a story of burn and healing. Of laughter, longing, and the quiet kind of love that lingers long after the fire fades. Because sometimes, the fiercest bonds are forged not in Hell... ...but on a beach, at sunrise, with someone who finally chose you.

He broke the laws of death for her. Now she'll face Hell itself to bring him back. Blaze Morvane was never supposed to be here. Dead, resurrected, and now leaping between the realms of the living and the damned, this pink-haired wolf-turned-hellhound defies every law Hell ever etched into stone. But for him, it was never about rebellion-it was about Loona. Their bond has become more than love; it's a cosmic glitch, a crack in the foundations of infernal law. When Hell itself comes calling-chains, enforcers, and the full wrath of the Sins-Blaze is dragged to court to face judgment. Loona is left behind, furious and helpless... until she isn't. With divine intervention, motherly wrath, and the fight to save the best thing to ever happen to Loona, the trial becomes a showdown not just for Blaze's soul, but for the right to love without limits. Sin, divinity, and loyalty collide in this emotional arc where the laws of Hell are bent, broken, and rewritten-for the only couple bold (and stupid) enough to try.

With snow drifting beyond the frosted glass and holiday lights glowing warm and wild, Blaze Morvane faces his most unpredictable challenge yet: a Christmas party hosted by his brilliant, ever-scrutinizing mother, Mistral Morvane-and every single lady from his complicated past is invited. With Blaze finding his place next to Loona-the firebrand hellhound from I.M.P.-Blaze is caught in a whirlwind of old flings, unresolved tensions, and bittersweet memories. From sultry werewolves and celestial goddesses to cunning fox spirits and digital phantoms, each guest has their story... and their reason for showing up. But as laughter flows with wine and unspoken feelings linger like mistletoe overhead, Loona takes it upon herself to discover why so many of these women still care for Blaze-and what it is that makes her the one who stayed. Meanwhile, Mistral conducts her own quiet investigation, interviewing each of her son's... former entanglements with equal parts curiosity and clinical amusement. Unexpected friendships form, jealous sparks fly, and even ancient grudges are dusted with a hint of holiday cheer. Complete with a chaotic gift exchange, a feast to remember, some magical hangovers, and heartfelt revelations, Hell of a Holiday is more than just a seasonal detour-it's a celebration of past, present, and the imperfect, stubborn love that keeps Blaze standing. Because in this found family of gods, monsters, foxes, and flames... sometimes the best gift is simply being seen.

(My take on Loona's backstory! Warning that it does contain mentions of abuse and death) Before she was the snarling receptionist of I.M.P., before the sarcasm, before the scars-Loona was a child who dreamed. Dreamed of a home. Of parents. Of love. Of stars on her bedroom ceiling. Tossed between cages, collars, and cold stares in the depths of Hell's broken foster system, young Loona learns quickly that hope is a dangerous thing. Each new home chips away at her until nothing remains but teeth, silence, and fire. Years later, with a child of her own and love she never thought she'd find, Loona begins to unravel the truth of who she was and why she fought so hard to survive. But healing isn't easy. Not when nightmares still bite. Not when she's never truly told anyone what happened. Not even Blaze. Torn between the mother she's becoming and the child she left behind, Loona must confront the last ghost still haunting her-the scared little hellhound who once believed in fairy tales. Because some wounds don't stay buried. They howl. She bit to survive. Now she must speak to heal.

Some things are just unintended... like bumping into a conceited vampire at a party, hating his guts then - against all your better judgement and frequent protests - inexplicably making him believe that you've fallen in love with him. Then before you know it you're being sucked into a world of fantasy and danger that you had no idea existed. Of course, these things are just bound to happen to Anne Forbes - it's just her luck. She doesn't even want this, but who even asked for her opinion on these things?
