Once Kari returned, the siblings ran following Finn and Kari before Mikael could kill them. And so they went like this for a 1,000 years before they split up. Many believe Klaus had dagger his siblings, but he would never because of Kari. But Elijah believed that he had, causing the two to fight and leave each other while Finn and Kari kept watch over their siblings from a fair; despite what the rumours say about the family.
