When Hiccup, Snotlout and Fishlegs respond to a Terror Mail from trader Johan, they find a mass of aggressive wild dragons. But there's someone leading these dragons and he hates humans. After seeing secret love letters to Hiccup, Astrid is afraid that she's being cheated on. But at the same time, about a week later something tragic happens to Astrid and has her life nearly taken away. As if so much was already going on, Astrid's Old Rival from a few years ago comes back to Berk with something evil up her sleeve. What does Astrid's Rival want with Astrid?

(COMPLETED) Once their time in the Great Beyond had come to an end, the riders returned to Berk for good. But thier search for new islands and dragons was far from over. Everything changed when they discover a colonie of people living with a new species of dragons. During their time on the island, love interests spark between Tuffnut and one of the local woman. A massive storm comes out of nowhere one day, sucking the dragon riders in and taking then far from home. They wake up on an odd island that they've never seen before. But the deeper they travel into it's forests, the more they realize this is no regular land. Things that should never be possible start happening, and they soon find themselves in a desperate fight for survival. And no matter what they try, there doesn't seem to be a way off the cursed island. It isn't until they meet a strange girl with a strange name that things start to take a turn for the better. Love begins to blossom in the land where anything is possible. Will they make it off the island? Or are their fates sealed? The longer they're trapped, the more they learn. This island is not what it seems. And this strange girl is more than she appears to be. Little bit of creep factor, lots of character development in the beginning. The love interest starts a little later into the story (chp. 9 or 10).

When Hiccup gets into an accident, he remembers nothing but his father, Stoick, his mentor, Gobber, the Viking teens who bullied him, and most of all his fear of all dragons. Now, his family and friends must find a way to return his memories and show him that the dragons that live on Berk are nothing to be afraid of.
