Izuku suffers from Tourette syndrome. Upon discovery of Izuku's quirks, it comes out that Inko had cheated on Hisashi. Said man then leaves his wife and son after which Inko starts to abuse Izuku. After a while he starts showing signs of Tourettes and it just makes things, in addition to one of his quirks, very difficult.
