On his most recent assignment after helping the White Fang he gets captured. Instead of being arrested Ozpin gives him two choices. Become his mercenary for the time being. Or be revealed who he really is and publicly executed by Ozpin himself. While posing as a student at Beacon academy he runs into a girl and her team as well as a few of their friends. This girl is Yang Xaio Long. Will they get to know each other? Who knows who this mercenary really is? And how does his past intertwine with Ruby, Yang and their families?
