Gellert Grindelwald. Albus Dumbledore had wished to never hear that name again. The name of someone he had once loved - and still did. Grindelwald is back - out of prison and willing to start a war to make his dream come true - the dream of a 'greater world'. He only needs one person to make that dream come true. And that person is currently on their way to Paris. This is how I imagined and wished the Crimes of Grindelwald to be (major events and plot points are heavily different from the new movie, so there will probably be NO SPOILERS. I wrote this a few months ago, even before the trailers came out). Everybody has their own struggle to choose a side. People whose lives are completely different, but they all are part of a huge puzzle. One of these people is the second darkest wizard in history and another is the only person who was able to stop him. It is also about heartbreak and falling in and out of love. A story about pride and a dream that turned into a nightmare.

When you find yourself joining the well-known movement the Greater Good, you keep getting distracted by its infamous but strangely attractive leader, Gellert Grindelwald. Will his fearsome reputation stop you from showing your feelings and make a dream come true? Or will faith intervene and make sure you'll get what you deserve? Strange events will take place that will leave you astounded. People will enter your life without you knowing of their existence, scary and unexpected feelings will develop, and very importantly, what will you do when you find out the killer of your family is now after you? *Complete* Chapters 1-14: Gellert and Albus in 1899, two handsome, power hungry young adults planning to change the world...they were closer than brothers 👀 Chapters 15-42: 1927-1936, they've gone their separate ways but know they will meet again some day...Dumbledore struggles with the joys of teaching and Grindelwald will try and keep his acolytes at bay...especially Vinda (I didn't mean for that to rhyme oh god) Chapters 43-52: 1943, Albus has to help the school when mysterious attacks occur at Hogwarts that resulted in many injured students and the death of an innocent girl. Gellert is stronger than ever, waiting for the day he sees his ex-lover again... Chapters 53-55: 1945, The final battle is getting closer where Gellert and Albus will have to face each other. Secrets will unfold and confessions will occur which will lead to the fate of the wizarding world. Who, if anyone, will have a happy ending? Chapter 56: 1964, What happened after the battle and where did it leave our beloved Albus Dumbledore? What will occur at his school next I wonder... Chapters 57-58: 1981, Albus is struggling with secrets he can't tell anyone but cannot keep bottled up inside him any longer. Who can he trust to not tell anyone? Answer, Gellert Grindelwald who is locked up in Nurmengard for life after his battle with Albus but accepts his fate as in the end he has remorse Chapters 59-61: 1992-1996, Albus' yearly presents and visits to Grindelwald as a way to keep his ex-lover going in his isolating cell. They discuss what is happening outside the walls as well as things they never thought to discuss when they were together.
