Atsushi falls suddenly ill with a rare form of illness that mainly occurs in animals such as tigers. Dr Yosano has to travel to Africa in order to get an anti-toxin to cure Atsushi. While the doctor is away she told Kunikida and Dazai to watch over the ill boy.
