That was why he decided to become a vigilante. He could help others, fight for what was right, without having to conform to society's strict rules for heroes. So, along with five of his friends, he set up a vigilante group of sorts, and they quickly became incredibly well known, and things were fantastic. Until Grian's two closest friends in the group became recruited to become a hero and completely abandoned him. But it was fine (he was better off without them anyway).
