Stranded on Earth while the city is repaired, the Atlantis team discovers there is a man claiming to be John Sheppard lying in a Vegas hospital. Upon arriving, the team make a startling discovery. The coordinates to Earth wasn’t the only thing to arrive from another reality. With no place for this alternative John Sheppard, the IOA decides that he would be better put to use in the city. Much to the distaste of Lt. Colonel Sheppard and some of his team. Given his alternative reality history, the Atlantis Expedition is low in the trust department. Can this Alternative Sheppard live up to their Sheppard work. Or will he turn and run like a coward?
