Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire who's life was finally returning to somewhat normal has once again been thrown into The Hunger Games. This time however, she's on the safe end of The Games, with her fellow District 12 Victor Peeta Mellark. They must now become the mentors of the 75th Hunger Games District 12 Tributes, but with so much more at stake. Katniss fearfully let's her little sister reclaim her place as a Tribute in The Games after Primsrose volunteers to take Katniss's place in the Quarter Quell, because she couldn't stand the thought of letting Katniss who recently found out she is pregnant go back into The Games. After Haymitch Abernathy (Katniss and Peeta's mentor from the 75th Hunger Games) Is picked to go into the arena with Prim things get tense as Katniss realizes that yet again only one person can come home and she's already resolved to the fact that it won't be Haymitch (because he's just too drunk all the time) Her only hope is to get Prim the sponsors and help she needs while in the arena to make sure she comes home alive, all the while Katniss and Peeta have their own struggles to face with each other as they blindly fumble their way through figuring out this whole parenting and being a real couple thing. Maybe there will be a wedding? Maybe a funeral? Either way their lives will never be the same again and they are about to find out just How The Games Can Ruin Their Lives!

This story begins two years after the war and rebellion is over, and it is simply a story about Katniss' and Peeta's life together. In many other stories I've read, the Hunger Games return and continue to slaughter twenty-three children every year. That has not happened and is not going to happen in my story. This story is for Everlark shippers, so Katniss is not going to run off with Gale or something. Katniss is very happy with Peeta. They have everything by having each other, but they aren't married. Yet. When will Peeta ask? How will she react when she suddenly gets an unexpected visit by Gale, who has ignored her for two years? Read and get the answers to these questions.
