The name's Chaos. Chaos Killbourne to be exact. People call me reckless, but they're wrong. I'm more like the perfect storm. Destroy an entire city with a single glance? I can do that. Wipe mankind off the face of the earth once and for all? I can do that too. Born to lead a revolt of epic proportions so the Dark Ones can rise up and rule the world is my destiny. Refusing to follow direct orders and become a weapon of mass destruction is my downfall. Cursed by fate, I'm currently on a collision course to form the perfect union in order to balance my explosive supernatural powers before I self-destruct, and take the planet with me. There's just one tiny problem. Once formed the union can never be broken. With a bad attitude and an even worse temper I can't be tamed. Not that I have time to worry about my love life, of course. I'm just trying to make it through high school in one piece. All I know for sure is that the future of mankind rests in my hands, which really pisses me off. I never asked to save the world. After all, I was born to destroy it. Copyright © 2014 ~ Somerlea All rights reserved. I still had questions, "But why am I so special? Why am I wanted?" "You don't need to know that," Alex said. Do they really expect me to leave with them without knowing why? They must be really stupid if they think they are taking me anywhere with telling me everything. I deserve to know why I'm needed, they have no right to keep that information from me. I was getting mad. I have a really short temper. I could feel the air around me getting hot, and I knew they could feel it too. "Either tell me why I'm needed or I'm not going anywhere." Alex looked like he was about to object, but lucky for him, Justin had enough sense to answer my question, "You are the daughter of Queen Amelia and King Cornelius. You are a princess. You have the powers of our leaders combined. You're the most powerful person on Earth." Princess? I am no princess. Just the other day I was getting bullied. Most powerful person on Earth? Hilarious. I know I have powers, but there if there is other people like me that must be more powerful than me. "Me? Princess? Are you high? I'm obviously not a princess. My mother is human. I was born on Earth." "You were born during the war, the king knew you would be a target of the humans, if they found out you were born. So being the good father he is, he gave you to a human he trusted, he knew she would raise you as her own. That woman is who you know as your mother." Justin answered. My life is a lie. I am not who I think I am. People are not who I thought they were. I can't believe this. I thought only things like this happened in stories. "Fiera, who do you choose? The queen or the king?" Alex asked. They were both looking at me expectantly. The queen wanted peace and not to start a war. The king wanted to show the humans that we were not bad but they wouldn't listen. They deserve what the king wanted. The king saved my life. I looked up, "I know who I've chosen."
