The Battle of Starcourt has been fought. Max lost her brother, Eleven thinks she lost her Father, the mall is burned to the ground. Hawkins is drowned in complete chaos. Robin and Steve lost their job but soon find a new one. The Byers take El in and move to California. It seems like Eleven lost her powers, even though Mike ensures her she'll get them back sometime. Nancy and Jonathan prepare to separate. Dustin, Lucas, everyone of squad, says their goodbye to Will. But what happens after that? What if Joyce's distrust in Hopper's death isn't completely irrational? What if the fight isn't over and new monsters are breeding in the Upside Down? And what if there's more kids with powers? Maybe one of them will help the friends with their new struggles... New adventures await them all; Lucas get's into Hawkins Highs basketball team but seems to forget about Max, Dustin and Mike. Those latter two get into the schools new Dungeons&Dragons club led by metalhead Eddie Munson. Then this girl shows up at Family Video, Robin and Steve's new job.
