[season 7 & 8 of Chicago P.D.] The newly married Spencer Grey's life was seemingly perfect. Until it wasn't. While a life threatening bacteria plagues its way through Chicago, Spencer finds out something that will change her life forever and alter her marriage with Jay. Nobody is every truly a clean cop, are they? If you work under Hank Voight, you're somewhat dirty. Working in intelligence means that sometimes you have to get your hands a little bloody. A little dirty. It means that sometimes you have to cross lines. Sometimes you have to put aside your morals. Sometimes you have to flip that switch that controls your humanity and turn it off. If you don't do that, the job will eat you up and ruin you. But maybe that's why that select group of people live for that job so much. They're the ones that learned to love the pain.
