Only one person knew this secret -- an elusive character using the name 'Lawliet' who she only knew through his kind, encouraging, and supportive text messages. After her mother passed away, Lawliet became Kaori's pillar of strength. However, her remarkable talent as a hacker doesn't go unnoticed by the renowned 'L.' Almost as soon as Kaori graduates, L tries to use her skills in the troublesome Kira Case. But she has no choice -- she must assist the Kira Case, or L would send her to jail. Yet they patiently stay under their master, until the last moment when they strike with their vicious sharp claws. They are never completely loyal, they will leave when their master no longer interest them. They detest anything that is annoying. Yet these two drastically different in character and thought share the similar history. History that haunts both of them at night....
