As a kit, Mistybreeze and her brother enjoy playing with Bloodfur. But when their friendship is suddenly broken, she grows lonely, and only Revengeheart seems willing to befriend her. She quickly falls for him and agrees to become his mate. But when she finds herself locked into a dark plot, she realizes that she has made a terrible mistake, one that puts the future of every clan in danger. This is a short story that takes place during Shadows of Blood.

A new shadow hangs over the forest, and next to it a new prophecy. Raven, Scourge's granddaughter will have to find the forest warriors and follow the advice of the StarClan to rid the cats of the new danger. The destiny of the granddaughter of Scourge awaits.
