When she was thirteen, Chloe Golding wrote a list. On this list was every type of kiss she hoped to experience in her teenage years. They ranged from an innocent peck on the back of the hand, to passionate make-out sessions and kisses on the private parts. Four years passed. Aged seventeen, Chloe has yet to cross of any one point on the list. But maybe that’s all about to change. Her mother’s new student, the charismatic Will Falcon, gets his hands on her diary. Taking an interest in Chloe, he makes it his mission to kiss her in every way she listed. And when runaways, parties, and big fat secrets become a way of life, something as crazy as the kiss list could bring them closer, or bring everything crashing down.

"You're afraid of temptation." He said pinning me to the wall. "No, I'm not." I snapped at him. Who am I kidding? Yes, I am. He leaned closer nearly brushing his lips against mine. My breath caught in my throat and he grinned. "Your breath and your pulse give you away, Barbie." He said not pulling away. "I think you're scared you'll get hurt and you don't want any commitments. You don't take chances." "I'm a cheerleader...I take chances all the time." I pointed out shifting and accidently brushed my hips against his. This time I heard his breath catch in his throat. Now I smiled. "Who's tempted now?" "I'm always tempted." He whispered in my ear. There was a moment of silence where we just looked in each other's eyes before I whispered to him again. "Tempt me." He leaned forward crushing his lips to mine pulling me closer by my waist as my fingers got caught in his hair. Dear Library Girl, I almost asked you what was wrong the first time I saw you crying. Then I saw the book you were reading, and realized that you were crying because of it. And I was interested, because I'd never read anything that moved me that much. I checked out the book you were reading, and guess what? I cried - just a little - too. That's how it started. Every time I go to the library, you're almost always there, usually with a completely new book. Sometimes you smile, or laugh out loud, or cry again, and when you do, I check out the book you're reading. That was it, really, until I realized how gorgeous you are. You're not pretty in the normal kind of way, but god, when you smile, it lights up your face in the best way. I wish you'd notice me, sitting a few tables away from you, reading the book you were reading a few days ago. I wish you'd smile at me. I don't have the guts to talk to you. I'm afraid you won't be anything at all like I imagine. One of these days, I'll work up the courage and I'll ask you about what you're reading. And maybe you'll smile that gorgeous smile and tell me all about it, and then we'll talk about all the books we've read. But until then, thank you for the book recommendations. I love them. Love, Tyler *The body of this letter is not my original work, but rather a prompt for the story you are (hopefully) about to read. Enjoy! French translation on @ClesteVrld's profile!
