Alone in a condemned world where monsters and humans fight for power constantly, Y/N survives off of the wood's riches and the small scraps of shelter she can find in ghost towns. Allies and friends have come and gone during the war, either killed or have parted ways. It's not all that bad. She could be dead, after all. One afternoon when shipments from the Human Capital come on a train, she meets a mysterious stranger who saves her life. He's a monster, no doubt, a skeleton to be exact. Y/N is intrigued by the monster and decides to follow him into the next town over where he disappears into an abandoned warehouse. Y/N follows him in only to be pinned to the wall for questioning. After answering all his questions, introductions are made and Y/N learns that the skeleton's name is G. Y/N likes G despite his hateful nature and somehow convinces him to let her come along on a quest he's taking to save his brother from the Monster Capital where they took him for war. After surviving assaults, the government, and Mother Nature herself, Y/N and G start to form a special bond that neither of them wants to break. But when everything goes wrong and neither of them is strong enough to prevent it, Y/N finds that the capitals that she had always hated are far more sinister than she could've ever imagined. ~o0o~ Book 2 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book three: "No One is Happy with This") Ah. Hello there. You are here in search of a story? ... I could tell you a story of a family, reunited once more, living on the surface world. But such a story has not come to pass, nor do I know how such a story would come to pass. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you the story of how I came to be here, stuck in the black depths of nothingness. But, I have the distinct sense that this story has already been told, by hands not my own. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you a forgotten story. A story of a name long gone, a time erased eternities ago. ... Yes, this one, I think, is the story I will tell. For the name that was once my own, the name that has been lost to the Void, that is a name to remember. Dr. WD Gaster is a Name to Remember.

~o0o~ Book 1 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book two: "A Name to Remember") (Book three: "No One is Happy with This") There was a time where a Royal Scientist got an idea. A time where he created two weapons, who turned out to be people. A time where he built a machine to power the Underground. There was a time when the timelines weren't messed up by a certain flower, and then a certain child. There was a time before. ~o0o~ Wattpad Featured Story on 4/28/17 - on the OLD featured list ~o0o~

You are a liar. A huge one, as a matter of fact. But you're given a book by your aunt who told you to write down at least one hundred true things. It doesn't seem so bad right? But what happens when your cousin's friend won't stop bugging you about said book? Will you reveal the truth about yourself, the weird feeling you have for him, or the truth that your cousin and their family have been trying to hide... Disclaimer: yes, this book is based off of the one by Julie Schumacher. All rights are reserved to her. I just wanted to make a shitty fanfiction out of it.

~o0o~ Book 3 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book two: "A Name to Remember") Two years after the Barrier was destroyed, it's a dark and stormy night. A group of friends; six monsters, one human, and one flower, celebrate the anniversary of the monsters' freedom. Everything starts off with a seemingly innocent question: "What does the thunder remind you of?" But the answer only leads to more questions. Questions born of curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat. And it's a hard learned lesson that Determination can't always bring everything back.
