Tuttavia, Samuele ha sempre avuto fiducia in Federico e non si preoccupa della sua vicinanza a Lavinia come farebbe con altri ragazzi. La vicinanza tra Lavinia e Federico è inevitabile, ma suscita sentimenti contrastanti. La loro interazione è un costante gioco di sguardi e parole pungenti.
