A month ago, if someone were to tell me that my best friend was a part of the cruel and ruthless Moretti Crime Family, a gang that was known for their merciless, brutal and downright evil ways, I would have told them that they needed to visit a mental hospital. Hell, I would've offered to personally drive them there to ensure that the said person arrived safely. A month ago, if someone were to tell me Logan Keller, my best friend since the age of eight, had an order from his boss. An order that could not be ignored. An order that stated that if he wanted to keep breathing he would have to kill me himself. I would have asked them if they forgot to take their medication in the morning. A month ago, if someone were to tell me that I would end up on on the MCF top ten most wanted list, with a five thousand dollar reward for the lucky bastard who gets to end my life first, I would have given them a blank stare, nodded my head and walk away from the lunatic as fast as I could. A month ago, I never thought that cleaning out Logan's filthy room would land me in this much crap. Running from the cops. Running from gangs. Running from my so called trustworthy best friend. And failing miserably at all three. And who would have thought? Me, the absolute nerd, would be on the run with my gangster of a best friend. (Cover by my best friend- ForeverFaithful21)

“I hate you.” “No you don’t.” He replied smoothly. He stood there staring at me and it was times like this I begged for Edward Cullen’s mind reading gift. He was leaning on the old desk in the middle of the classroom, ignoring the groans of protest coming from the crappy piece of furniture. “There are a lot of things you do, but hating me isn’t one of them.” “And what makes you so sure of that?” He let out a helpless sigh and ran a hand roughly down his face. He stood up and relieved the desk of the extra and unwanted weight of his muscled but lean body. He looked at me and the expression on his face made me almost feel sorry for him. Almost. “A, I’m sorry.” “No, Mason, don’t call me that.” My eyes were locked shut in fear of him seeing how watery they were. “I’m Anna to you. Just Anna.” *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl named - " Yeah...No. Look, in all honest truth, this is no Disney fairy-tale. It's not a story about the nerd and the jock. It has nothing to do with bad boys, ridiculously protective strangers, schools that don't care if students are skipping classes left, right and centre, oblivious parents that are willingly ignoring the fact that their underage children are getting hammered or high. This is not one of those stories that nearly every adult is acting like ignorant irresponsible teenagers, and the cops would let you get away with egging a house or slashing car tyres. No, this story is a painfully honest tale. There will be no sugar coating, no putting things completely out of proportion. No cliché geeky girls that never swear. No uptight popular 'alpha' males getting the losers to do their home-work. No cocky bad boys smoking and doing burn outs on the school basketball courts. No, there definitely won't be any of that junk. This is the painfully honest tale of real high school life told through the eyes of a real high school student. This is the truthful story about truth.
