Imagine being able to raise the dead. (y/n) doesn't have to imagine it, and neither do her disapproving classmates. Within the cruel confines of middle school, (y/n) and Shinso both get hate for their "villain-like" quirks, but one day, things go a bit too far. Shinso promised that (y/n) wouldn't lose him; however, with the wrong timing and the wrong guidance, he just might lose her. How do you fix what's been lost? :: Possible warnings for content will be posted at the beginning of each chapter. :: I do not own the characters of BNHA - Kohei Horikoshi does. I only take credit for the writing, storyline, and the two OC's that I include in this story. :: The Reader uses she/her pronouns.

"If you want to be in the hero course so bad you could just have my spot, I don't want it." Y/n doesn't want to be a hero, well not anymore at least. When she was younger it was her dream to become a pro, but after one incident she starts to despise the thought of being a hero. What happens when she's forced into U.A and meets the insufferable class of 1-a and a purple-haired boy who's dream is the exact opposite of her's? Cover is a fanart by tizuaka on twitter. I try to keep y/n as general as possible but i tend to end up making her like me out of habit, so if i ever say anything that doesn't fit i'm sorry and pls correct me so i can go back and fix it. Also I will be using she/her pronouns in this, but feel free to just replace it with they/them or he/him or whatever you'd like! I do not own My Hero Academia.

𝕊𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕣𝕜𝕤: 𝔸 𝕡𝕙𝕖𝕟𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕠𝕟 𝕣𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕟 𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕣𝕜𝕤. "You should still come over...but leave your tools. I'm not a good neighbor if you only come over to my house for work", he suddenly suggested. You would've been shocked except you'd been caught off guard so many times today that you started to feel immune to it. The lack of shock made it easier to feel the warmth that flooded into you when he voiced his idea. "That sounds great. Should I...change?", you meekly asked, certain he understood what you were referring to. The purple-haired man shrugged as he asked, "What's the point? I already saw it. It's only a big deal if we make it into one." You smiled at his philosophy. "Lead the way, Toshi", you tried out the nickname you came up with while Hitoshi was away. The man raised an eyebrow at you but you spotted a forming smile before he turned and unlocked the apartment.
