Jim Gordon wanted a different life for his son. He wanted a life of logic, safety, and a quiet career far away from the rotting streets of Gotham. He wanted a son at Metropolis University-not a son wearing a GCPD badge.
But Y/N Gordon is a detective's son through and through.
When Y/N secures a position at Wayne Enterprises' Applied Sciences division, Jim thinks his son is finally safe behind a desk. He's wrong. Working under Lucius Fox, Y/N discovers that the "eccentric" Bruce Wayne is requisitioning enough military-grade hardware to start a small war.
Instead of turning Bruce in, Y/N does the one thing a Gordon does best: he solves the problem.
Caught between the rigid moral code of his father and the lawless justice of the Batman, Y/N must navigate The Middle Ground. As the Dark Knight's secret tactical analyst and his father's "man on the inside," he is the bridge holding the city together.
But as a chaotic new threat known as new threats rises to tear Gotham's foundations apart, Y/N will realize that the middle ground isn't just a place to stand-it's a target.
