Edward Elric, was a neko slave. Roy happened to be at the auction where they were selling Ed. Edward's new master becomes non other than Roy Mustang. But Roy's in for a shocking discovery when he learns about Ed's first master, and suddenly, realizes how much pain he's been through. The only question is, does Edward, who is fragile, shy, and a practically broken slave, feel the same about his Master?

Equivalent Exchange. The basic law of alchemy. It begins the chain of exchange. The passing of information, rules or even traditions. But that's not always the case. Roy Mustang needed stress relief. Edward Elric needed information. They make a deal. There's only one rule to this deal. Everything that happens, means nothing. Or so they thought.

He lives with his brother Alphonse Elric, Van Hohenhiem (his step dad) and his step sister, Winry. Everything is perfect. But that's the outside look. In reality, Ed's in hell. His family abuses him every time he messes up. To everyone in his household (except Al) Ed's a she. And to them, her name is Edlyn. And where does Roy come in? His life is saved thanks to a beautiful maiden. Now, he can't get her out of his head. And her name? Edlyn Elric.

They say after a tragedy, life gets better. For Edward Elric, it did. After being tortured for a couple days ruined him. But, Roy Mustang swept Ed off his feet and saved him. Then four months later, an old enemy appears. Roy changes, Ed cracks. But once again, Roy fixed him, the piece of broken metal Ed was. Now, it's been five years, since Roy had saved him. Ed's life finally got better. But it didn't last long.

Lately in Central Command, no one has been safe. An alchemist has been running around, targeting other State Alchemist's. Edward Elric, is next on his list. And Roy Mustang knows. He's just to worried for the boy to tell him. So, he covers up the reasons for his actions with lies. But those lies didn't do a good job of protecting Ed.

"What?! The stupid mission requires me to wear the uniform?!" "Yes Fullmetal. You'll blow our cover if you don't." "And I'm being sent with you?!" "Yes Fullmetal." Edward Elric had been assigned on a mission. An undercover one. Him and Roy Mustang, Ed's superior, were assigned to go on the mission together. What they were supposed to do? Go to a party for soldiers, and Ed was supposed be Roy's 'girlfriend' Nothing could go wrong right..? Falling in love wasn't apart of the plan. Right.....?
