Avery is the last faerie of her kind. She has just lost her father, who sacrificed his Faerie state for her, but doing so ended his life.She also lost the faerie she fell in love with. She swore her revenge on the evil faerie that caused her life so much despair, and has caused her to isolate herself from everyone but her mom. But when she meets a faerie who has powers he's not supposed to it raises all sorts of suspicions. Now the evil faerie Lentire has an evil plan, but needs Avery's power, for it to work.
