Liam is a guard at a tough metal-walled prison. He spends his days patrolling his sector of the prison which just happens to be the most deadly of the entire asylum put together. Liam “Officer Payne” actually really loves his job. He enjoys meeting the prisoners and talking to them. Yes, some are killers. Yes, some are robbers. But that doesn't entirely mean they're horrible. Of course he wouldn't reveal his personal life, but has little up-to-date chat with them. Zayn was a criminal master mind. He's transferred to the prison Officer Payne works at. He's never available to grab a cup of coffee. He's on the clock 24/7. His secretary, Louis, is an all around guy. He always tries to hook Liam up with someone, but some how Liam thinks of an excuse why he can't. Louis always attempts to convince his boss to take a day off. But Liam always refuses. One day, an intern comes in to work with one of Liam's clueless workers. Some how in some way, the intern catches Liam's attention. In a way that causes him to take a day off.

Liam has set some rules for himself and Zayn seems to be the perfect match for it.
