"Being reunited with your childhood best friend after eight years apart? Sounds like a heart-warming story. Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Best friends from birth, they did everything together - well, that was until Connor's dad got a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity and the family was forced to relocate to New York. At age sixteen, Georgie's life is totally different - her main goal being to keep her head down and escape the brutalities of high school with as little emotional scarring as possible. Balancing school, work and her dwindling social life is enough of a challenge, but it's about to get a bit more complicated when her conceited ex-best friend gets thrown into the mix. Maybe friendship should come with an instruction booklet.

How wise could it possibly be to help a stranger you find bleeding in an alleyway at two in the morning? This alone could have life altering consequences that may not be beneficial to your immediate health. But when that man informs you that he is not even human, what are you supposed to believe? Is he a psychopath? Or worse, could he be telling the truth? In "Take My Hand," Jocelyn Madison, a young woman with a painful past, makes the choice to show compassion for an injured man who turns out to be Gabriel Carson, a vampire who despises the very immortality he has been granted. The two meet by chance, but in a world where everything happens for a reason, they just might turn out to be the saving grace that heals the pain of each of their pasts and paves the way for a new future if they can simply embrace the love that each can offer the other. The road will not be easy, as life has the tendency to throw speedbumps in our path just when we think we can't handle anything more, but the reward will be all the sweeter in the light of the challenges that must be overcome to attain it.

(On hold as I want to concentrate on other stories... Sorry) (Previously called 'He's Too Good For Me') "Then my eyes met his, the whole world just stopped, just like that. His eyes reminded me of the ocean so much; I loved the sea. They shined with happiness, relief and... love? His amazing scent wrapped around me like a blanket, keeping me, safe, warm, protected... everything that can’t happen" Teela found her mate; she saw him on her TV. Good thing? No. Why? Because he's a freaking model who has a face carved by angels. Plus finding your mate via TV isn't the most romantic thing. She avoids every single tiny possibility of meeting him, she faces the facts; he's too good for her. Just like her mother. So what happens when he appears at her school? What will happen when she runs away from him? How will he deal with the indirect rejection? What will she do when her pack moves in with his pack? Obviously so what she always does; Teela avoids him. But she's forgotten fate's two simple instructions... You can't avoid fate. You can't hide forever.

#1 Romance | #1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | Watty Awards winner for 2012 Romance Emma Ross is a hard-working, quiet girl who tries to stay off the radar. It's all going okay for her until she starts getting along with one of the 'It' boys. Having this happen, comes with drama and pain, is it all worth it? Or it is just best to stay out of it all? As Emma battles with the conflict, which will she choose? It might just be the best thing for her... ** I acknowledge that this story has a series of mistakes in it. I wrote this many years ago and did not take it seriously. It is a complete draft full of mistakes. I understand this may be frustrating when reading and I apologise. But I would rather focus on improving my writing now and focus on my new writing, rather than go over and edit this, when I already have edited the other version not on Wattpad. Sorry for any inconvenience. ** © 2012 by LaurenJ22. All rights reserved. Cover by annasteffey
