One night of drinking ends in an encounter with the dark side of intimacy where he learns of all the limits his body can reach. Gilbert has given him feelings he's never felt before and he doesn't think he'll ever get back. Especially because of his fear of falling in love. Matthew suffers from severe philophobia and depression because of a breakup with an abusive ex when he was 17 and neglectful parents. At age 23 He meets 25 year old Gilbert, who quickly falls in love with the awkward blonde. Matthew struggles not to reciprocate Gilbert's feelings out of fear of being rejected again. Will Matthew cave and admit his love for the charmingly goofy German?
