((I am currently rewriting this story, hoping to get a new chapter redone every few days!)) Castiel had lost his grace, forced to feel the full extent of human emotions. He experienced hunger, exhaustion and pain. He felt satisfaction, joy and gratitude. He fought for his grace, and when he got his wish, he returned to nearly exactly how he had been before. Except now that he had known those emotions, it was hard to forget how they felt, all that remains now are ghosts of the things he experienced. He has forgotten hunger and fear, but some things still remain strong inside him. Among it all, he knows the feeling of loss the best now, having lost everything but the essence of how he felt towards the person he grew closest to. Castiel knows he would still do anything for the person he feels these odd things for, including giving up everything again if he had to. Maybe one day he'll understand what these feelings he has inside him means. Whether he has to figure it out himself or have help from the person he expected the least. He is in the school shadow and doesn't have any friends but he would rather read in the school library than socialise. He has had a very good and happy life loving with is father and older brother, Gabriel. Dean Winchester is the star swimmer for the school swim team and the most popular kid at school and he hates it. He doesn't want all of the attention, especially as he has to care for his 14 year old brother, Sam. What happens when they both start talking anonymously and don't know they are talking to each other? ~~~

It was a completely normal hunt for a werewolf. Everything seemed to be going great, except for the fact one werewolf turns out to be a whole pack. Dean and Cas thought it would be easy peasy until they get attacked by the whole pack. One thing leads to another and now Dean can see souls and even angel wings.

Castiel is still in purgatory and it's causing Dean to lose his mind; literally hallucinate. When Castiel returns, dean is alone and losing hope. Castiel’s return should be good news but when Castiel is revealed the truth about him and Dean’s relationship how will they deal with the situation? Does Dean have bigger problems? How will the news affect their everyday lives?

In here, Castiel is loved. Out there, Castiel is expendable. So why would he ever leave?

When a psychic at the local fair tells Dean his future, he shruggs it off. Until he finds himself in a situation that looks a lot like the psychic predicted, and he tries his very best to change it. Word count: 4.8k
